Post breakfast; explore the Maharaja Palace, also known as Mysore Palace or the Amba Vilas Palace - official residence of Wodeyars, the royal family of Mysore. Afterwards, visit the Nandi or Bull temple at the Chamundi Hills- a temple dedicated to Nandi (Bull), the vehicle of Lord Shiva. The next visit is to St. Philomena's Church – one of the oldest churches in India. Back to Mysore for visiting the Mysore Zoo. Overnight stay in the hotel.
You drive to Wayanad after breakfast and checking out of the hotel. It houses several historical and archaeological artefacts that are significant to the region such as the antique bronzes, gold coins, old paintings, ancient umbrella stones and monuments that are megalithic in nature such as the dolmonoid cysts. Beypore , an ancient port town in Kozhikode formerly called as Vaypura / Vadaparappanad. The famous ruler of Mysore , Tipu Sultan, named the town "Sultan Pattanam".Beypore port was historically famous for trading with the Middle East. It is one of the oldest ports in Kerala. Night stay at Calicut.
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Calicut. Arrive and transfer to airport / railway station.
